    Reporting to Manager, Digital Sales Operations, the Team Lead of Digital Ad Operations will be a part of the team responsible for the day-to-day advertising operations the Star Metroland Media Digital properties through scheduling, targeting and testing ad campaigns.



    • Lead a team of Ad Operations Specialists towards successful multi-platform campaign management (desktop, mobile, tablet/smartphone optimized sites)
    • Work with team to balance and manage campaign margins with performance delivery
    • Provide campaign optimization, and technical expertise to troubleshoot campaign delivery using your in-depth knowledge of capabilities and technical restraints of all ad products
    • Actively support third party tag support, optimization strategies, campaign resolution
    • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate all aspects of campaign booking to support communication with clients, agencies and partners
    • Address client questions about performance levels, creative changes, report data and creative testing
    • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of digital ad products, trafficking processes, order fulfillment, cost management
    • Manage the setup, trafficking and QA of digital media campaigns across a variety of ad platforms
    • Support internal product teams from a technical ad ops perspective to operationalize new ad tech products
    • Provide and assist with inventory and forecasting estimates
    • Provide on-call support for afterhours ad-related emergencies as necessary



    • 3+ years of prior trafficking experience with a strong understanding of ad systems/platforms
    • University or College Degree
    • Strong Technical Knowledge of HTML/HTML5, Javascript, VAST/VPAID and debugging web software
    • Strong understanding of all facets of display marketing and best practice campaign development/management and a willingness to continue to stay on top of trends within the industry
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop professional relationships with our advertisers and various internal stake holders
    • Ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
