    In this role, the Director, Content Strategy and Partnerships will report to the Vice President, Content Strategy and Head of Content Partnerships will be responsible for shaping Torstar’s overall content strategy across all brands from a data-driven, customer-first lens.  You will also play an integral part in building our partnerships and in working closely with all of our newsrooms and content creators to execute content strategies that drive revenues.  You possess strong project management skills coupled with a keen business acumen and you are a collaborative team player capable of driving transformational projects.

     

    As A Member Of Our HIGH PERFORMANCE Team You Will:

     

    • Lead negotiations with content partners
    • Manage integration of partner content across Torstar print and digital properties
    • Develop content strategies in support of Torstar transformation
    • Develop business cases to support strategies and partnerships
    • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with business unit leaders
    • Align business unit leaders and teams on project timelines, milestones and KPIs
    • Align initiatives with customer experience
    • Steering the project process ensuring on-time delivery

    • Experience negotiating content agreements in media industry
    • Experience driving content strategies, developing business cases
    • Experience with publishing or media industry
    • Editorial experience is beneficial
